Superant Arms’ MK18-P Mod 1 is the latest version of the 11.5” Piston Operated firearm line. Upgrades over the original include:

• Midwest Industries Combat Rail Lightweight 10.5” handguard

• Silent Captured buffer spring system from Armaspec or JP Industries

• Railscales HTP in dragon or mini-dot

• Primary Weapon Systems Enhanced buffer tube

The firearm starts with an 11.5” barrel in 4150 CMV steel (Cold Hammer Forged also available) for strength and high-temperature stability for sustained shooting, chambered in 5.56x45mm. The reliable, tunable, and clean operation of the gas-piston system and an Ion-bonded (DLC) bolt carrier adds to the performance, reducing wear over time on critical parts when tuned to your preferred cartridge load.

The lower receiver is fully ambidextrous - bolt release, mag release, and safety selector. Multiple trigger options are available.

Selecting Options and upgrades:

All piston systems ship with an ion-bonded carrier and 9310 nitrided bolt by default unless “piston operated nickel boron” is selected ($50 upgrade).

• NJSP has determined that this configuration is legal in the state of NJ. To be considered an “other firearm” it must be over 26” in overall length, with both a pistol brace and forward grip attached to the handguard. changing either of these features or reducing the overall length with create a firearm that is not compliant in NJ.
